Research Manager

Description

In line with Center’s long-term research agenda to develop the Bridging Leadership Index (BLI), the role of the Research Manager is to inform the over-all design of the index, liaise with research partners, and supervise the creation of research outputs, including informing the research design and identifying target journals and conferences for them.

  • Strong research background – both in theories and methods
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, specifically in writing research quality papers and articles
  • Partnership development skills
  • Ability to do Research Mobilization

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Research comparable indices on leadership and social change and inform the architecture of the BLI.
  2. Liaise with Center partners regarding activities related to the BLI.
  3. Supervise the implementation of each research study for the BLI, especially by:
    • Informing the research design
    • Identifying target journals and conferences and their requirements
    • Ensuring proper documentation of BLI-related activities
  4. Work closely with the Center’s Executive Director and Research Associate in the implementation of BLI-related activities.
