![]() | Multicultural 38,711 AIM alumni come from 52 countries in five continents. In school year 2009-2010, 95% of the students came from the Philippines, India and Indonesia. The rest were from Bhutan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and 20 other countries. | |
![]() | The event that AIM students most look forward to is the International Cultural Night, where students stage national dances and fashion shows wearing national costumes. Other events are the Diwali, or the Festival of Lights and Beer Pub Welcome Party hosted by AIM for freshmen in full-time programs and short courses. | |

The national language is Filipino, but the Filipinos' English fluency has made it the number one BPO country in the world. Filipinos are probably the happiest people in the world, finding humor in many situations and ready to smile even at strangers. Filipinos are adaptable, and known for good customer service. The cuisine and language have Spanish, Chinese and American influences. According to The Lonely Planet, 'the Philippines boasts some of the world’s best diving and snorkelling.' They also enjoy looking at jeepneys and museums, Fort Santiago, the various cuisines and ballroom-dancing here. |
