Deputy Minister David Jalagania to Speak About Economic Reforms in Georgia

Deputy Minister David Jalagnia of Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs will discuss developments in Georgia, particularly on economic reforms, trade and investment opportunities, as well as Georgia’s role in the Caucasus region including energy supply.

This lecture forms part of CDM’s Development-at-Work Series which creates a venue for intelligent exchange among known experts in development issues and AIM students. The series has thus far been successful in bringing in participants from various international organizations, government agencies, NGOs and other academic institutions.

Our Speaker

Dr. David Jalagania, will be coming to Manila for the convening of the 1st Philippine-Georgia Political Consultations on 24-24 November 2011. Dr. Jalagania has significant experience in the economic sector, having worked for EU Integration, Department of Foreign Aid Coordination, Department of Relations with International and Regional Economic Organization among other positions in Georgia. Dr. Jalagania has completed his PhD from the Georgian Technical University. This is a free service from the AIM- Center for Development Management.
