AIM Governor Sung-Joo Kim Recognized as Honorary Officer of the British Empire

Global Summit of Women "veteran" and member of the Summit's International Planning Committee Sung Joo Kim was chosen by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to be formally recognized as an Honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire in recognition of her contribution to strengthening the relationship between the UK and the Republic of Korea.   In receiving the honor in a ceremony on June 10, Sung Joo Kim became the first Korean woman to receive the OBE.
